There is no good or bad character for me
Sharing her first impressions of Ebru, Gizem Sevim stated that she does not categorize characters as good or bad, saying:
“For me, there is no such thing as a good or bad character. I love every character that serves the story and excites me. Ebru excites me, so I play her with pleasure.”
There are moments when I get angry at Ebru
Accepting that Ebru’s actions can sometimes frustrate viewers, Sevim explained the aspects of the character that also upset her personally:
“I get angry at Ebru for not evaluating events from a broader perspective, for being stubborn, and for being naive at times.”
Ebru feels justified regarding Azra
Speaking about Ebru’s attitude toward Azra, portrayed by Aleyna Solaker, Gizem Sevim said that there is strong manipulation behind this behavior and summarized Ebru’s point of view as follows:
“Cihan manipulates Ebru very well. Ebru does not know how Cihan treats Azra. That’s why Azra genuinely appears as a bad person in Ebru’s eyes.”
Cemre Baysel’s support is very valuable
Stating that the sisterhood between Zeynep and Ebru in the series is written very realistically, the actress also praised her co-star Cemre Baysel, saying:
“Her giving me space and supporting me is very valuable.”
I am calmer in my daily life
Speaking to Alev Gürsoy Cimin, Gizem Sevim talked about the difference between her on-screen energy and her real-life personality:
“In my daily life, I am calmer and more reserved. On screen, however, I appear much more energetic.”
