Testimony of Singer Izzet Yildizhan Released in Kubilay Kaan Kundakci Murder Case
The testimony of folk singer Izzet Yildizhan (İzzet Yıldızhan), who is accused of "aiding and abetting" Alaattin Kadayifcioglu (Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu) in the murder of footballer Kubilay Kaan Kundakci (Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı), has been disclosed. Yildizhan defended himself by stating that he only heard about a fight prior to the incident and learned of the murder afterward.
Seven individuals have been arrested in connection with the murder of the 21-year-old footballer in the Umraniye district of Istanbul. These include the murder suspect Alaattin Kadayifcioglu, singer Aleyna Kalaycioglu (Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu), who is alleged to have instigated the attack, and Izzet Yildizhan, who is accused of helping the suspect hide.
Luxury Vehicles Arrived and Fire Was Opened
The incident took place on the night of March 19. Rapper Vahap Canbay (Vahap Canbay), known as Canbay, wanted to reconcile with singer Aleyna Kalaycioglu, from whom he had separated approximately 20 days earlier. Canbay sought assistance from his friend Kubilay Kaan Kundakci.
According to allegations, luxury vehicles equipped with strobe lights arrived in front of the workplace during this time.
An assailant exited the vehicle and opened fire on the rapper and his friends. Kubilay Kaan Kundakci, who was severely wounded in the attack, could not be saved.

The Statement of Arrested Singer Izzet Yildizhan
As the investigation into the murder continues, the statement of Izzet Yildizhan, arrested for aiding and abetting, has surfaced. Yildizhan stated:
"At night, Metin Kadayifcioglu (Metin Kadayıfçıoğlu) called me. He said Alaattin was involved in a fight. I said, 'I hope it's nothing serious.'"
"After hanging up, I called Bilal Kadayifcioglu (Bilal Kadayıfçıoğlu) but could not reach him. As I recall, I later sent a message to Metin asking, 'Is there any news from Alaattin?' I do not remember if Metin replied. The next day, I spoke with Bilal Kadayifcioglu on the phone. He said he had heard something but did not know what it was and would return to Turkey on the first available flight. I left in the evening and traveled from Ankara to Istanbul. I later heard about the incident through social media. After Bilal Kadayifcioglu arrived in Turkey, we spoke on the phone and met," Yildizhan added.
