Hande Ercel Released Following Drug Investigation
In a drug investigation conducted in Istanbul, actress Hande Ercel (Hande Erçel) was released after providing blood and hair samples at the Forensic Medicine Institute. Ercel had been detained at the airport immediately upon her arrival in Turkey.

Hande Ercel Released After Forensic Sampling
As part of the investigation led by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Ercel, who had an outstanding arrest warrant, was detained at the airport as soon as she returned to the country. After giving her statement to the prosecutor at the Istanbul Courthouse in Caglayan (Çağlayan), she was referred to the Forensic Medicine Institute for hair and blood sampling. Following the procedure, Ercel was released.
New Wave of Drug Operations Targeting Celebrities
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that on March 25, detention orders were issued for 16 suspects accused of "possessing narcotics for use or facilitating the use of drugs." Simultaneous operations were carried out by the Istanbul Narcotic Crimes Branch Directorate to apprehend the suspects.
According to the statement from the Prosecutor's Office, the names included in the detention orders were: Fikret Orman, Guzide Aksoy (Güzide Aksoy) known as Guzide Duran (Güzide Duran), Hakan Sabanci (Hakan Sabancı), Kerim Sabanci (Kerim Sabancı), Hande Ercel, Burak Elmas, Sezgin Koysuren (Sezgin Köysüren), Ferhat Aydin (Ferhat Aydın), Lutfiye Tugce Ozbudak (Lütfiye Tuğçe Özbudak), Koray Serenli, Onur Bukcu (Onur Bükçü), Ismail Behram Perincekli (İsmail Behram Perinçekli), Kaan Mellart, Didem Soydan, Onur Talay, and Mustafa Tari.
It was reported that 14 of the suspects were detained, while arrest warrants were initially issued for Kaan Mellart and Hande Ercel.
Following their statements to the prosecution, suspects Koray Serenli, Onur Talay, Sezgin Koysuren, Tugce Ozbudak, and Mustafa Tari were referred to the peace judgeship with a request for their arrest.
Four Individuals Arrested
The prosecution referred Kerim Sabanci, Hakan Sabanci, Burak Elmas, Fikret Orman, Guzide Duran, and Didem Soydan to the judgeship with requests for "international travel bans." Ferhat Aydin and Ismail Behram Perincekli were referred with requests for "house arrest" as judicial control measures. Suspect Onur Bukcu was released after his statement to the prosecutor.
The criminal judgeship of peace ruled for the arrest of Koray Serenli, Onur Talay, Sezgin Koysuren, and Mustafa Tari. For Tugce Ozbudak, the court ordered judicial control measures in the form of an international travel ban and house arrest. The court also approved judicial control measures for Kerim Sabanci, Hakan Sabanci, Burak Elmas, Fikret Orman, Guzide Duran, Didem Soydan, Ferhat Aydin, and Ismail Behram Perincekli in line with the prosecution's requests.
