Death threat against Özcan Deniz: "I’ll shoot you, I’ll shoot you in front of everyone!"

The tense relationship between Özcan Deniz and his brother Ercan Deniz has entered a new phase. According to audio recordings submitted to the prosecutor's office, threatening remarks can be heard from Ercan Deniz, in which he says:

"I’ll shoot you. I’ll shoot you in front of everyone. You have one week."

End of collaboration after 22 years

Ercan Deniz, who had worked as Özcan Deniz’s manager for over two decades, ended his professional relationship with his brother a few months ago. It was later revealed that the dispute between the two brothers was rooted in financial matters.

Start of investigations into assets

As the case developed, based on a report from Ercan Deniz, investigations began into three villas owned by Özcan Deniz in the Uskumruköy area of Sarıyer and possible tax violations. In response, Özcan Deniz claimed that his brother had threatened to kill him.

Audio and video evidence submitted to the prosecutor

Following the official complaint, audio and video recordings were submitted as evidence to the Istanbul Prosecutor's Office. In these files, Ercan Deniz not only threatened Özcan but also threatened to kill their sister Melek Kasap.

Request for legal restrictions

Özcan Deniz’s lawyer, İrem Demir Kural, submitted a complaint requesting the implementation of legal measures and punishment of Ercan Deniz under the Turkish Penal Code. Following this complaint, the Istanbul Prosecutor’s Office has initiated the investigation process.
