İbrahim Tatlıses: "What relatives do to each other, not even a scorpion would!"

İbrahim Tatlıses, the well-known Turkish singer, has recently been making headlines mainly due to his family tensions. After the conflicts he had with his daughter Dilan Çıtak, now it's his brother Hüseyin Tatlı's turn to step into the family disputes arena.

New tension with his brother: "Nothing will come out of you!"

Tatlıses, who previously also had conflicts with his children Ahmet and Dilan, this time sparked controversy with a sensational remark about his brother Hüseyin. He had said: "I told my brother: Son, nothing will come out of you, don’t tire yourself!"

This sentence provoked a strong reaction from Hüseyin Tatlı, who responded with a post on social media:

"They say sit straight and speak the truth. You said to me 'Nothing will come out of you, don’t tire yourself.' But such a conversation never took place between us. You lied. That wasn’t worthy of you. Don’t you remember listening to my voice in the car and jokingly saying: 'Let’s give him something to ruin his voice?' Now you’re denying the very thing you laughed at!"

He continued:

"There’s a lot to say, it never ends. If you truly wanted to support me, you could’ve at least called your producer Polat Yağcı and said: bring Hüseyin Tatlı into our team, do a concert or a song for him. But you didn’t. If really nothing was going to come out of me, I would’ve applauded you. That’s enough for now."

Defending Özcan Deniz against his brother

On another note, İbrahim Tatlıses also reacted to the family conflict between Özcan Deniz and his brother Ercan Deniz. Ercan Deniz accused his brother of tax evasion, which led to Özcan Deniz's assets being investigated by financial authorities.

Tatlıses responded to the matter by saying:

"Chasing after Özcan Deniz is wrong. He’s your brother. I can only call this jealousy. What relatives do to each other, not even a scorpion would!"

He added that he spoke to Özcan Deniz on the phone and comforted him, saying: "I talked to him. I said: Don’t worry at all, just relax."

Tension with daughter: "Forgiveness is not possible"

Alongside all these events, İbrahim Tatlıses's recent remarks about his conflict with his daughter Dilan Çıtak have once again made the news. In response to a question on the matter, he said: "Forgiveness is not possible."
