Four Clubs from the Turkish Super League Referred to the Football Federation's Disciplinary Committee
The legal advisor of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) referred four clubs from the Trendyol Super League to the Professional Football Disciplinary Committee (PFDK) for various violations.
According to a statement published on the official TFF website, the clubs Beşiktaş, Galatasaray, Bellona Kayserispor, and Sipay Bodrum FK have been referred to disciplinary action for various reasons.
Individuals Referred to the PFDK
In addition to the clubs, some individuals have also been subject to these disciplinary proceedings. Accordingly:
- İbrahim Hatipoğlu, Vice President of the Board of Directors of Galatasaray Sportif AŞ, was referred to the disciplinary committee due to "statements that tarnish the reputation of football" without any temporary suspension.
- Semih Kılıçsoy, a player from the Beşiktaş team, was referred to the PFDK with a temporary suspension due to "actions contrary to the rules of the game".
According to the TFF statement: "Disciplinary investigations have been carried out based on the documents and reports from official match observers, and the legal process will proceed according to the disciplinary regulations."
