The Statement Repeated by Aleyna Kalaycioglu (Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu) During Interrogation
In the investigation launched into the murder of young footballer Kubilay Kaan Kundakci (Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı), who was killed in an armed attack in Istanbul, it has been reported that Aleyna Kalaycioglu frequently requested breaks during her interrogation.

The investigation continues regarding the death of the amateur footballer who lost his life in the hospital after being attacked in his parked vehicle on Siddik (Sıddık) Street, Tatlisu (Tatlısu) Neighborhood, Umraniye (Ümraniye).
10 People Detained
Operations conducted by the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Homicide Bureau led to the detention of the suspected shooter Alaattin Kadayifcioglu (Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu), his father, and singer Izzet Yildizhan (İzzet Yıldızhan). This brings the total number of suspects detained within the scope of the investigation to 10.
Canbay Pointed to Aleyna
Homicide Bureau detectives initiated action regarding the case. In his initial statement, rapper Vahap Canbay reportedly stated: "We went to reconcile with my former girlfriend. A vehicle arrived, someone got out and knocked on the window, then opened fire and left. Aleyna might also be connected."
The Suspect Identified as Alaattin Kadayifcioglu
The Homicide Bureau first detained Aleyna Kalaycioglu. The identity of the suspect who used the firearm was subsequently determined. While the suspect was identified as Alaattin Kadayifcioglu, the son of businessman Bilal Kadayifcioglu (Bilal Kadayıfçıoğlu), teams requested additional detention time for Aleyna.

According to reports, Kalaycioglu was unable to hold back her tears during questioning and repeatedly asked for breaks. She maintained that she had no part in instigating the crime.
Singer Izzet Yildizhan and Others in Custody
As a result of coordinated efforts by the Public Security and Intelligence Branches, 8 suspects were initially detained, including the shooter Alaattin Kadayifcioglu and Aleyna's mother, Zuhal Kalaycioglu (Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu). Subsequently, the suspect's father Bilal Kadayifcioglu and singer Izzet Yildizhan were also taken into custody, bringing the total to 10.
Mobile Phones Under Examination
Reports indicate that Kadayifcioglu was preparing to flee abroad. The weapon believed to have been used in the incident was seized at an address in Besiktas (Beşiktaş). Gunshot residue (swap) samples were taken from Kadayifcioglu’s hands, and the mobile phones of all suspects have been confiscated for digital forensic examination.
Instigation Allegations Against Mother and Daughter
According to the Homicide Bureau's findings, Aleyna Kalaycioglu and Alaattin Kadayifcioglu were inside the black vehicle that approached the car containing Canbay and Kundakci. It is alleged that the primary target was Vahap Canbay, but the young footballer Kundakci lost his life when Kadayifcioglu fired repeatedly at the vehicle. While procedures continue at the Gayrettepe police station, allegations of instigating the murder have been leveled against both Aleyna Kalaycioglu and her mother Zuhal Kalaycioglu. The investigation is proceeding from multiple angles.
